"WET" is a new creation inspired from a quick photo I took through the front windshield of a moving car. This painting is the latest of many paintings I painted from this image. I was thrilled to learn that my painting, "WET," was accepted into the Illinois Watercolor Society's 37th National Exhibition by artist, juror of selection and juror of awards, Elaine Daily-Birnbaum. This painting was also awarded the Evelyn E. Schultz Creative Spirit Award. This exhibition is now showing in the Next Picture Show Fine Art Center in Dixon, IL, until May 28, which is located at 113 W. First Street, Dixon, IL. This exhibition features sixty-one water-media paintings from artists all over the United States.
